DEKRA opens new IoT laboratory in Linkou, Taiwan

State-of-the-art facilities prepared for the Internet of Things challenge

Following several strategic acquisitions and organic growth, the international expert organization DEKRA is opening a new laboratory in Linkou, Taiwan. The state-of-the-art facilities provide cutting edge technologies and services to meet the rising market demand triggered by the Internet of Things (IoT) challenge, with special focus on connectivity.

In the last years, DEKRA has been taking a leading position in electric and electronic product testing in APAC, focusing on Internet of Things and M2M. Solutions range from regulatory, conformance to various Industry Consortium requirements for vertical markets such as Automotive and IT. By bringing its recent acquisitions Quietek, iST and AT4 wireless under one roof with DEKRA, the company has strengthened its service portfolio in Reliability, EMC, International Market Access, and Wireless.

The Linkou laboratory will provide a broad range of complementary services including EMC, Radiofrequency, Wireless, Mobile, IoT, Safety, Cyber Security & Interoperability, Energy Efficiency, Chemical, Performance & Reliability testing. On top of that, international market services offer customers access to more than 200 countries.
